PROGRAMS

BACHELOR IN ELEMENTARY EDUCATION

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
Three to five years after graduation, the BS in Elementary Education alumni shall:

    1. have career progression in their field of specialization;
    2. demonstrate globally competitive skills and Lycean values; and
    3. engage in community and/or national development.

 Program Intended Learning Outcomes (PILOs)
At the completion of the BS in Elementary Education program, the students are expected to:

    1. Articulate the rootedness of education in philosophical, socio-cultural, historical, psychological, and political.
    2. Demonstrate mastery of the subject matter/discipline.
    3. Facilitate learning using a wide range of teaching methodologies and delivery modes appropriate to specific learners and their environments.
    4. Develop innovative curricula, instructional plans, teaching approaches, and resources for diverse learners.
    5. Practice professional and ethical teaching standards sensitive to the local, national, and global realities.
    6. Pursue lifelong learning for personal and professional growth through varied experiential and field-based opportunities.
    7. Graduates of colleges are qualified for various types of employment and participate in development activities and public discourses, particularly in response to the needs of the communities they serve.
    8. Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the diversity of learners in various learning areas.

BACHELOR IN SECONDARY EDUCATION

    • Major in English
    • Major in Mathematics
    • Major in Filipino
