PROGRAMS

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ACCOUNTANCY

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
Three to five years after graduation, the BS in Accountancy alumni shall:

      1. have career progression in their field of specialization;
      2. demonstrate globally competitive skills and Lycean values; and
      3. engage in community and/or national development.

Program Intended Learning Outcomes (PILOs)
At the completion of the BS in Accountancy program, the students are expected to:

      1. Comprehensive knowledge and technical proficiency in financial accounting, cost accounting, taxation, accounting information systems, and management control to analyze and resolve complex business problems from both global and strategic perspectives.
      2. Conduct independent accounting research by critically reviewing relevant literature and applying appropriate accounting theories and methodologies to contribute to the body of knowledge.
      3. Leverage technology to capture financial and non-financial data, generate insightful reports, and make informed business decisions.
      4. Apply accounting knowledge and skills to successfully meet the requirements of professional licensure examinations and certifications.
      5. Exhibit a strong commitment to ethical practice, corporate citizenship, and social responsibility in all aspects of professional accounting.
      6. Consider the general requirements for disclosure and sustainability of related financial information and impact of climate changes in all aspects of the accounting profession.
