ALTA DOES IT AGAIN! – NDC 2023 2ND PLACER

After their last dance contest in March, Lyceum of Alabang’s (LOA) pride, ALTA Dance Troupe did not miss a beat at the National Dance Championship (NDC) as they went off to Pasay City’s Aliw Theater, in Manila last Saturday, 24th of June, 2023.

NDC is the most awaited and highlighted competition every year for ALTA as this event shall be their door to battle for Nationals, which then fulfills that ultimate goal by coming back with a crystal award as 2nd placer in the Open Mixed Hip Hop Division at the National Dance Finals 2023.

ALTA Coach, Mark Jerome Vasquez, wanted to go big and split the dance troupe into two groups—choreographed and trained to perfection—to enter and compete in two divisions: Open Mixed Hip Hop (with no specific school to represent or education level requirement) and Mixed Senior Hip Hop Division (Senior High School level representing a school), where Senior High School ALTA members went all out in their performance and rank 6th!

Overwhelmed with joy, ALTA celebrates their victory with LOA’s Sports & Cultural Development Coordinator, Mr. Jae Angelo “Cholo” Martinez, and Shark’s Assistant Coach, Nicholson Banigon that had guided and endlessly supported them all the way, in joining this year’s NDC.
